PVC is available in a nearly limitless variety of colors and textures. Most popular are "leather-look" textures. This material offers the look and feel of leather at a fraction of the cost. It can be heat-sealed and embossed, resulting in a low cost assembly.

PVC is also available with laminated woven backings. This can increase the durability and eliminate the need for padding or interior assembly. Where the look of leather is desired, but not the price, this is often the material of choice.
